My boy’s preschool likes to do an event called Donuts for Dad. It’s mostly due to Father’s Day not falling during the school year.
We get to see what they do in class and receive an update on what they’re learning (with the option to enjoy some coffee and donuts).
It’s a fun event providing an opportunity for us dads to fellowship with our children in their world. It doesn’t hurt that we receive a present. Last year my daughter gifted me a coffee mug with thumbprint baseballs. This year? An envelope craft of a shirt and tie.
I’m so glad I’m a tie-rific dad.
